On the 14th of September I ordered this scooter. It came today, the 16th! Amazon said it wasn't going to come until the 21st! but whoah that was so fast! This scooter is awesome! it even like has a storage compartment! On the other scooters they have baskets and when u go up hills, the things in the basket can fall out. Well not this scooter! it is pretty much impossible for the items to fall out because you are sitting on the seat! Well i dont know if u like this scooter, but i know i do! : 2011-11-22 00:09:47
This is the best scooter i have ever ridden!, September 16, 2005
I just recieved this scooter yesterday, 12pm, let it charge until mignight. woke up rode it! super fast! and its super fly!!! all of my friends love it! since it fits 220 lbs.....me and my friends rode on it TOGETHER!!! I weigh 60 pounds and my other friends are around there! Im 11 and i love this thing! I used to have a Schwinn scooter and then it busted, so for my birthday this year, my parents got me this scooter! if u are looking for a scooter for your kids, i recommend this! u know its just my opinion but im not a liar! It even has a storage compartment where the seat is! it reminds me of a trunk! well my schwinn scooter had a basket, and every time i went up the hill, everythin in the basket fell out! it broke my friends game so i had to buy her a new one that was [...]!! WITH MY MONEY! so i seriously recommend this one! my parents even ride it! it is ssssooooo cool! if anything bad happens, i will be sure to post it to warn u, but until then...ill be riding it! tata! : 2011-11-22 00:09:26
The Best Toy Ever!!,
I just got one of these scooters this Christmas, and it is the best toy I have gotten in my life! The second I got it, I rode it over to my friend's house who is about a mile away. I couldn't believe it made it so far. I used it all day until it ran out of power, so I just charged it then rode it for about two more hours. This item is by far the best thing I have gotten in my life! : 2011-11-22 00:09:13
Cute product
My teenage daughter wanted one of these, and is now very happy with it. It's not a full sized scooter, but works out well where we live. I'm in a private gated community with private streets, and this is not designed for public streets, as the manufacturer makes clear. It has a surprising amount of pep, enough speed, and handles well. It will supposedly handle the weight of an adult, (220 lbs) and was still peppy with me on it. But when I tried to get it up my driveway from a complete stop, it choked on it. Had I been moving, it might not have been an issue, but this is more for the kids. Assembly is not trivial, but not difficult. It's not going to be ready right out of the box, and the instructions don't quite match the actual packaging. The included throw away tools are not what you should use for assembly, which took longer than I would have expected. The tire valves are in an area with limited room, and my standard tire gauges could not get in there. Neither will many air pumps. Yes, some things could be better about it, and the warranty is short for this sort of product, but for the price, it's well worth it. Your kids will have fun. : 2011-11-22 00:09:01
Great for my 8 year old
I was hesitant after reading the many reviews that this was fast (15 mph) and that's true - it is! After the initial shock and crash (on it's own - it got away from him) he has mastered it with little effort. The handbrake is a bit tricky for little hands, so most of the time he uses his feet to help him slow down! However, this moped is easy to maneuver, is a lot of fun, and charges relatively quickly. If you are buying this as a surprise, the box is a big giant picture in four color of the moped, and there is some assembly required. They said it takes about 15 minutes, but I would give it more like an hour! It comes with the tools though, but make sure you buy the special "schrader" (you can get this at Toys R Us) bike pump to inflate the tires (although we have not had to do that yet, but they are NOT easy to inflate due to the angle of the spokes). Overall, great for years of enjoyment, and fun for adults too! The green color is great for both boys and girls, and all his friends want to ride it! : 2011-11-22 00:08:46
This scooter makes many memories!, February 21, 2006
Do you want your child to be happy? Well if so, I recommend getting this scooter. The Razor Mod Bistro Scooter is great for anyone from 8 to 40! Since it holds up to 220 pounds, my whole family can ride it, well not all together. When I first ordered this scooter, I thought "would that 2boysmom customer be correct about all razor products?" But that didn't stop me from getting this scooter. When I recieved it, I thought "wow this is going to take forever to put together." As anyone who as this can see, I was wrong. I put it together and I am only 10 years old. After assembly, I charged the scooter for 12 hours exactly. I took it out for a ride and WOW! It went so fast! That 2boysmom customer was completely wrong. It was probably just on her products, or her boys did something to them. I did not realize that the scooter had a compartment until about a week after. Then my friend called and said "Hey! Do you want to come over and play?" So I asked my mom and dad and they said that they do not care. But they did not want to take me. My sister with her liscense was out of town. So I said to them "Well how about I try out the scooter and ride it to my friends house!" They said okay. I rode up and down many hills and it took me 1 minute to get there! I do not know if it is just my scooter, but mine goes way faster than 12 mph. It goes about 20 mph. It has a lot of foot room and sitting room. You can even take a friend. Does your child want to travel in style? Well this will be a great start. All of the kids on the block will say that this scooter is so cool and that this scooter is very sweet! After 2 weeks of having my scooter, 2 of my neighbors got the same scooter. I kind of got mad, but we all rode and raced each other. It was fun. I put my nick name on my liscence plate which is LindaBean because I am a tumbler and my name is Melinda. It comes with many letters. The brake works perfectly. Once I rode it in the rain and it was not slippery at all. I hit the brake and it stopped as it normally does. I highly recommend this scooter! Even for adults who want to be kids again! : 2011-11-22 00:08:34
A BLAST FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY
I bought this for Christmas for my 10 yr old. He rides it every day. It goes quite fast and holds the charge for approx 45 minutes. It goes over dirt and grass equally well and uphill with ease. I have to say that I sneak rides on it myself when he is at school. I am 5ft 10 and can fit on it with no problem. I can see that he will be riding it for years to come! & so will I! : 2011-11-22 00:08:21
Daughter loves it
This is a great value for the money. Arrived in two days. Perfect condition. Took about 10 minutes to put together. Best of all there is a wall plug to charge it. No messing around with batteries. Just plug into the wall and into a slot on the bike. Came fully charged. My daughter rides it every day. It is as fast as reported. Batteries charge in less than the eight hours. Usually takes around 5 if they are fully discharged. Great bike. : 2011-11-22 00:08:06
Excellent Scooter My daughter has been asking for a power wheels motorcycle for the last two years. We were hesitant to buy power wheels since the maximum rider weight is so low and she'd quickly outgrow it. When we saw the Razor mod, it was appealing for several reasons.. #1- It has a maximum rider weight of 225 meaning even my husband and I could ride it! #2- The price is totally reasonable #3- Electric power means we can store it indoors #4- The size is perfect for our daughter. #5- It looks like a Vespa! The box says it's for ages 12 and over, but I think that's a bit silly. Our daughter is just 8 and is also the smallest kid in 3rd grade and the scooter is perfectly sized for her. My husband and I both ride full size Vespas, and the scale of the Razor mod fits the same criteria we used when purchasing our bikes- she can put both feet flat on the ground and have room to shift her weight, she can reach/operate the controls easily, and is able to sit squarely on the seat. She can also manage the weight well enough to push the scooter, and get it on and off the center stand by herself. The bike handles very similarly to a regular bicycle and has enough power to pull hills. She was able to hop on and start riding like she'd been riding this bike her whole life. I can't recommend this item enough. It's been ridden daily in varying degrees of cold winter days and was the #1 hit of Christmas at our house. Set up took about 15 minutes. The picture shows a regular bike helmet as protective gear, we are using a real youth sized motorcycle helmet since it offers face protection. Our daughter thinks the real helmet is cooler as she feels like she's riding a real scooter like we have. : 2011-11-22 00:07:53
QUIET and so fun
When my 11-year old started begging for an electric scooter, we were very hesitant. A neighbor has one and it's the stand-up kind with a VERY loud motor that drives us nuts on the weekends. We gave in, and went shopping. While we were reviewing the standing scooter, we noticed the Razor Pocket Mod and it was the SAME PRICE! I, of course, thought it was adorable and my daughter was easily swayed. It was easy to put together and charge, however pumping the tires was a wee bit difficult just because of the angle required. The tires are nice and fat/sturdy, too, so riding offroad or over small rocks wasn't an issue. The biggest thing we noticed though, was that it is AMAZINGLY QUIET! What a blessing compared to the neighbor's noisy scooter! It practically 'purrs' and you don't even hear it until you are right next to it. Seeing her ride it is incredible! It is VERY easy for any child that can balance and ride a bike. The handle brakes/gas takes a bit of getting used to, but after a few days she was a pro! Her papa rides a motorcycle, so he was dying to check it out. Weighing in about 180lbs, he was able to ride it as well! My daughter got a big kick out of that. The battery lasts quite a while! An hour may not sound like a lot of time, but if it's not continuous (kids stop/start chat/ride/play) it can last hours. It charges quickly and easily, and it's small and fits well in the side of the garage. Though she's 11, we were told by the salesman that younger kids who are responsible can definitely ride it. It IS fast, though, which was a bit unnerving at first. It doesn't sound like 15 MPH is that fast (I think that's what it is), but when you see your child going down a hill that fast - it seems quite scary! It doesn't turn quite as sharply as a bike or standing scooter can, so they have to learn it's limitations. Definitely get a helmet and kneepads! This is the BEST ITEM we have purchased for her in YEARS! Highly recommended! : 2011-11-22 00:07:38

Motor Scooter Review
My daughter loves her motor scooter. She is treating it with the greatest of care. There was a sign on it that said extremely cold temps would damage the battery, so it lives inside, in the hallway. In all seriousness, the scooter has worked great so far, and we have not had any accidents. Also, it was delivered much more promptly than we were told it would be delivered. Such an easy way to shop! Thank you.
Great Scooter
My wife and I bought this scooter for my 13 year-old daighter for a Christmas gift. I did my research of this scooter by the reviews on Amazon.com. The scooter assembled easily and quickly with no missing parts. However, I need to mention that the rear tire valve stem adapter is located in the right handle bar. You must remove the rubber plug at the end. The adapter is in the rubber plug. this si not stated in the istruction manula. I had to go to the RAZOR web site to find that out. It would be nice for RAZOR to update their manual. The sccoter charged in less than 12 hrs even though I left it on for 18 hrs per the instruction manual. My daughter rode it Christmas morning and had a blast. The scooter gets up to at least 15 mph. Since we have been using the scooter, the battery re-charges in 6 hours or less now. The fit and finish are sound and the design is good. We get about 45 to 50 minutes of charge time from the batteries. Yes, it seems lop-sided for the ride time vs charge time.
Scooter E300S
We now have an E200s and the E300S we have saved over $20 in gas we use them to get around our Park and to the Park club house, We Love the fact that we can put both of them in the trunk of our car. I have also added a Ham Radio to mine with extra Batterys in a little trunk on the back. Thank You. Capt. Bob Grant USN/MM Ret.
Super Scooter
is was a top of the Santa list item for my 10 yr old 75lb son. He loves it!!! The option of using or not using the seat for only a bit more money was a wise choice. It was so easy to assemble as most of it was already put together. The maximum weight allows me to ride with him and we have had soooo much fun. It does not maintain speed with more weight going up hill but I think anyone would expect that. Huge factor was the tires. We did not want little skimpy inline skate wheels because with boys, they will go over just about anything. These tires will not stop the scooter causing it to flip like with those little wheels. The pneumatic larger actual tires allow for a bump and continued traveling. It was the hit of Christmas morning. All the kids in the family wanted to ride and did!!! It has been ridden so much in such a short time and we have had no problems like with other scooters reviewed. Great purchase and with the Amazon Prime no shipping, the price far beat out all others I look
Good Product
This was a Christams present for our daughter. It was easy to assemble with all tools necessary to do the job included, this took about 10 minutes. Because of the weather it hasn't been used much, but our daughter loves it. She rode it about a miles to the store last week with out any problems. It's is a good product. No regrets with this purchase.
Love It!!
Loved the scooter! As described in other reviews the battery life is short. Only about 45 minutes of continuous use. But my son still loves it! Arrived on time and in good condition.
Great Scooter
This is a great scooter. I ordered this for my 11 year old daughter and she loves it. I ordered this scooter with the free shipping included and it arrived in about 5 business days (not bad for free shipping). The scooter was shipped by UPS and arrived intact without any damages to the box or scooter. I was able to assemble the scooter in about 15 to 20 minutes and then I charged the battery overnight and my daughter has been very happy ever since. I would recommend buying this scooter to anyone (they are hard to find in the stores so that is why I ordered from Amazon.com).
razor scooter
my father got this for our sons but we all ride it and it is the best little thing ever. we had the seat on for a couple of days till we got the hang of it now we just jump on and go w/o a seat. it is nicer w/o the seat i must add. it is a must have. so much fun!!!!!
Scotter
got this for my boy who loves it. Weather here in Ohio is a little to tough for riding until next spring but he will keep it in basement until then. Cool Scooter
IF i cood, i wood rate dis the e300s 1 million stars
BUY IT......IT ROCKS!!!! I couldn't wait get it the day i ordered. I got way more than i expected out of it...i luv the big tires!and its so quiet for chain drive.its so...um....original BUY ONE AND NOT ANY OTHER LOWER RAZOR MODEL!!!!!!
battery life
My son got one of thse for his birthday last year. He loved it from the moment it came. It was easily assembled and charged. Like it was mentioned in a previous review, the battery life is short if used frequently. There are four children with this same scooter on our street and they have all died between 6 and 9 months after purchase. It seems that we've used up the batteries. I will be buying new batteries this year because my son just loves his scooter.
great fun for my 10 year old boy
I bought an E300S for my son on his 10th birthday. He had ridden a smaller electric scooter at a block party and had been smitten with it. I opted for the bigger scooter for the large wheels, as I want him to stay on the sidewalks with it and around here there are some bumps and cracks, these big wheels handle them with ease. This is important because it goes fast (for sidewalk travel) - it needs to be stable to be safe. The scooter is very well built. The basic components - frame, wheels, fork and handlebars are almost indestructable. In this age of plastic and throw away items, it is refreshing to come across a toy built for the long haul - much better than scooters in the 'good old days'. Of course the controls are somewhat vulnerable, but they are about as tough as bicycle parts, and should last indefinately if not abused. I particularly liked the charge connector. It is necessarily used often and if it breaks, the scooter can't be used. Razor used a high quality connector that
Razor Rocks!
This Electric Razor E300S with seat absolutely made our 13-year old son's Christmas! We got a great price compared to video gaming system bundles this year and it took less than 10 minutes to assemble. I did alot of research before choosing this model and I was concerned about some of the battery/power issues but after buying one I can confirm we have had no issues. My son has had good steering control, power up to 15 mph (as marketed) and the battery has lasted about 30 minutes which is just enough for him to tool around the neighborhood but not go too far. We love this product and are planning to buy a second one. As far as the seat, he reports that he likes having the seat because standing up get old and he doesnt have as much control as when he is seated.
Razor E300S Scooter
This is a great scooter! Heavy duty and fast! Got it for my 7 year old daughhter and she loved it. It goes plenty fast and has a good battery life between charging. It can even carry Dad (240#)as long as not going uphill. Should last a long time and will probably get used by my 4 year old when he gets a little older.
The Best Scooter Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was the most powerful scooter I had ever had and the most fun scooter too.Even though the scooter is way bigger than my e100 i could see why the ages are 12 and up.I'm ten. This is the best razor product ever.I recomend this scooter to anyone who wants to have a smooth fast and fun ride!!!!
great ride
I bought this for my 6yr old son. He loves it :0) He rides it all over the yard.We also took it on vaccation he had a blast. His comment was this is a sweet ride!!!!! This was the best way for a 6yr old to keep up with the older boys. He is to short for the seat but he does not mind standing up. Amazon.com had the best price and did a great job on my order and had fast delivery Regaurds, Happy Mom
Bought Two for the Grandkids
The scooters are wonderful. Its a great deal for the money. I hate putting things together but these were pretty easy. We bought the model that comes with a seat. Its great because when they want to sit and ride they can but when they want to stand the seat can be easily removed. The only negative to them is they only get about 45-50 minutes of power. If they'd make them have a 2 hour reserve of power we'd rate them 6 stars!
Buy the e300s!!!! it rocks
The e300s rocks!!!! The pickup is awsome and it says it goes 15, but i know it goes eighteen. My dads a cop and he tested it with a radar gun.Let me tell u sum good things about it good things 1 awsome pickup 2 tires are nice and big for a smooth ride and u can use em on anything 3 extreme motor power 4 has chain drive, to make you get up those steep hills 5 varible speed 6 awsome battery life 7 brakes work excellent Bad things uh.....nothing i used to have a wimpy e200s,but i deesided to upgrade to a more manly scooter. Now i can freewheel, couldn't do that on my e200s, im SOOO much hapyer now...it rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Buy the e300s!!!! it rocks

E300 Electric Scooter
This is a great performing scooter. The scooter came 90% pre-assembled, so assembly was quick and easy. The battery came charged and only required approx. 20 minutes to achieve a full charge--making the impatient child very happy. Its easy to operate, has sufficient power and mph for this age group and the battery charge lasts longer than manufacturer claims. The construction, performance, looks and cost for this level of scooter is hard to match.
Controls
This scooter is great, but 1 thing i cant figure out is what the "24" means on the controls. For all the people that own 1 of these and know wat it means please comment. thanks and overall this product is great. most of you(not all of you) say that the battery is worn out too fast. I did agree until i told amazon.(there was also a messed up tire) Amazon was very nice to give me a replacement. And when you charge it fully the first time the rest will be great. But there is one problem with both scooters is that when u crash or go over a bump the handlebar and tire move so the handle bar is forward but u could be turning left or right
Magnificent Scooter
I bought this scooter to use my car less and less. I don't want to go back! I use it for all of my transportation and enjoy it all. The 45 min use of the battery is only if you go on flat ground the whole time. As you go up hills you can feel it struggle. But can you blame it? It is a small motor. But overall it does great. If your hill is too steep it will automatically shut off to avoid the motor overheating. But give it 10 sec and your off again. Plenty fast. Tons of fun. And you get a lot of smirks from people going around town.
Best Xmas Present ever for my 8 yr. old twin boys
I did a search and found that Amazon had the least expensive for this brand, that I'd already decided on, so I was jazzed to see I could get 2 for around $120.00. This was the best Christmas ever. My boys got up and went down and saw these scooters and I didn't see them again until around noon. It was the first Christmas since they were born that I actually got a shower before presents. They love these. We have not had any mechanical issues and they ride them everyday. I was surprised at how well made and heavy they were. I just don't know what I'm going to do next year?? Great Product!
Bought this for myself after having bought the E150 for my 9 year old. Product is great! We have great fun together! Sturdy, easy to set up out of the box. So far the Battery life conforms to what they advertise. I would definately recommend this for teenagers or adults!
AMAZING GREAT BUY
it held its battery for a while and went over 15 mph. My daughter absolutely loves it! She is on it 24/7. I got it for her last Christmas and it is still working like its brand new.
It's great....I don't care what anybody says
I got this for my 12 year old grandaughter, and she LOVES it!!!! Sturdy enough for her 19 yr old brother and even her mom gets on it occasionaly. As a matter of fact....the whole family loves it!
excellent all around
My 7-year-old and 9-year-old are just thrilled to pieces with this scooter. Its speed is very impressive and it's so quiet. I think it's well worth what we paid for it. I thought I'd be concerned to have them zooming around so fast, but actually it seems very safe. This is just a fabulous product.
Great for what I purchased it for
Out of the box needed air in tires and chain adjustment. After that was ready to go, I use it for going back and forth to work and its great. The office gets a kick out of it and I find its faster than driving due to traffic lights. Speed is fast enough for me and I would imagine its great for kids also. Haven't had any serious issues and its been about 2 wks. Battery time isn't huge for me as I said my ride is only about 3mins so for me it works
awsome scooter for the price
This is a terrific scooter for the price. What i like most is the sturdy frame and easy assembly(took about 5 minutes). When you get this scooter it is already charged but is not fully charged so dont expect the battery to last very long at top speed. The only thing I dont like is it isnt a throttle but the what it does have is like one. I also dont like that it is louder than most of the other electric scooters...although it is not that loud. Dont remember the bad things though, just remember that this is a great scooter well worth the price.I give it 2 thumbs up.
Awsome scooter, nice for all ages
[bought scooter locally]My mom bought me this scooter a few weeks ago, works fine.Im 10 and weigh 90 lbs and zip around pretty good.Easy assembly took literally 2 minutes. This scooter is nice because it is portable and goes on dirt, rocks, grass, and asphalt. This should make every kid happy. Over all this is a good product and fun for all ages.
great fun
We have the E100 scooter and wanted something faster- this is a great upgrade it is higher off the ground and goes faster. No problems so far.
Two boys are very happy
My boys (age 15 and 12) saved their money up to buy these. We live out in the country and there is a long private road for them to have fun on! I asked the boys to help me rate them thus, the 5 stars. We had to call Razor, Inc. for a few questions and found the manufacturer to be very prompt and helpful. This was a very good deal financially compared to buying locally! The battery charges quickly and dependable. I have one rule---they have to wear elbow and knee pads as well as a helmet at all times when riding it. They have not wiped out yet but will at least have some protection if they do. I would not recommend a child under 12 riding these---too fast and requires skill, judgement and balance----so a child 12 or older is more appropriate.
Great little scooter
I purchased this for my 9 year son in March for his birthday. He was so excited and just loves it. Most of the other kids in our neighborhood have one so they have fun cruising down the court. The scooter seems to be built quite well and even handles me (200 lbs) riding on it with ease. The battery lasts much longer than I anticipated and charges fairly quickly. Time will tell how well it holds up to the abuse that kids give their toys. But so far I'm really impressed.
Awesome scooter!,
Works great! Had it for 2 months and our 11 year-old son uses it at least 3 times per week. His friends love it too! It lasts for at least an hour on a charge and can easily go 5-10 miles on flat ground before it needs to be recharged. Follow the instructions and always fully charge it after every use. Update: Now we've had this for 18 months and it gets very heavy use. It still works great and holds a charge.
Scooter-ific
Okay, my title may be a little corny but it's true! My tween daughter loves this scooter. It came in a box and required some assembly. I got it put together in a matter of 5 minutes or so even with my toddler running around. The battery needed charged for a long time before first use, which is typical, but my daughter was anxious to ride it. The next day, she rode it all over the place. We have a farm, and were surprised that it even goes in the grass some. It does a beautiful job on pavement and can reach pretty high speeds! Because it's battery powered, it doesn't go up hills all that fast, but it made it up with my 100 pound daughter just fine. We liked the display that shows when your battery is beginning to wear down so if you're far away from your home, you can begin heading back. I would recommend using helmet and knee pads, elbow pads, etc... It is an excellent toy, and I (along with my daughter) would highly recommend it.
Razor E300 Great Buy
I read every review before buying scooter. With some hesitation, i proceeded with the purchase. What a great gift for a 10 year old boy. I opened it up the day before his birthday, checked the chain tension, charged it overnight / per instructions, and surprised my son with it the next morning. My son is 80 pounds and this thing screamed for what seemed to be more than 45 minutes with all his friends jumping on that morning to take a lap around the block. Some of the lighter kids were making me a little nervous as they we going pretty fast. We also have a steep driveway, only 15 yards long, but he makes it up no problem. I, weighing 180 pounds, have taken it out for a spin. On flat surfaces it moves along fine though with some incline, I can see how this might get a lower than perfect review. On a full charge, and some momentum I can make it up the driveway as well. I guess if you are an adult looking for a scooter, go with a Go-Ped or Segway.
Great product!,
I purchased 2 Razor 300 scooters for my daughters (8 and 9 years old) for Christmas. They shipped and arrived in 4 days. The were easy to assemble and I was impressed with the quaility. I thought the girls would have a little trouble riding them since the recommended age is 12 yrs old. With an hour or so of instruction they were riding confidently. I am very pleased with everything about these scooters and highly recommend them.
Check chain tension before riding!!!!,
Like some reviews, my 8-year-old son's first E300 only ran about ten minutes per charge and 13mph max speed (yes, I have a radar gun). Troubleshooting sent us toward a dragging brake, but the brake adjustment was fine. The chain, however, was super tight (I'm an old motorcycle racer, so I know a lot about chain tension). I loosened the chain tension, but no improvement, and returned the entire unit. (I suspect either a bad battery or the overly tight chain tension damaged the motor armature.) When the next E300 showed up, I checked the chain immediately out of the box. Again, super tight. I loosened the chain (extra loose for the first run, maybe 3/4" play) and completed the rest of the setup. The unit performed flawlessly. Speed was consistently 17mph and still running strong after 35 minutes (we've only done two test runs so far). Slightly tightened chain tension to about 1/2" after first run. Also, as noted by another reader, we looked everywhere for the rear tire inflater extension, only to find it inside the right handlebar grip cap. Good luck figuring that out when it isn't in the directions. The E300 is sturdily built - a lot more than I would expect for the money. I weigh 210 lbs and the structure doesn't flinch when I climb aboard (although the motor is clearly not intended for any hills or probably heavy riders). My son is about 60 lbs and we live in Florida (no hills), so this thing will hopefully last a long time. If you live where there are hills or you weigh more than 150 lbs, I recommend you look for another scooter. Happy riding.Razor E300 Electric Scooter Update: 10-01-2007 I took the E300 out for a test run myself after dropping my son off at school (I want to test the unit thoroughly inside the 30-day return policy). I cruised the entire neighborhood, local park and all around. It is a very blustery day (threatening rain and lots of wind), so I encountered lots of headwinds. Through the ride I was up and down small hills too. I did this entire drive without any stopping, and the E300 finally gave out at 25 minutes on the button (the motor was moderately hot to the touch). Because of my weight (210 lbs), I can tell the motor is small and not designed for any hills or adults, so I was very impressed by this performance, especially considering the occasional stiff headwinds that I could tell strained the motor (you have no choice but to stand straight up like a sail forcing against the motor). My 8-year-old son is about 65 lbs and has never seen the "low power" light yet during his two 35 minute runs. I still think we have winner!

I still think we have winner!

fast!
Used to drive at work (hospital) when I broke my ankle. (I'm 43yo and 145 pounds.) Can't say how long battery lasted with continuous use, but it recharged quickly. Surprisingly fast. Fits in backseat floor of Prius. Very uncomfortable seat. Giving to a friend for her grandkid. Would buy again.
A great scooter
This was a great purchase! My daughter loves it!! She is 8 and is 53 lbs. The seat is great. She kind of sits on it, just enough to lean. I will definately purchase one for my son next year.
FUN
I had originally bought another brand of seated electric scooter for my daughter (10th bday) to save having to assemble. It went back the next day, because we knew the quality/comfort of Razor from a friend's scooter. I ordered this scooter from Amazon which came quickly and shipped free. My 13 year old son assembled it in less than an hour, and it has been enjoyed every day! Seriously, for over a MONTH now, enjoyed EVERY DAY!!
Designed more for the older kids
I, as an adult, LOVED this scooter! I ride it all the time and have a blast every time. Unfortunately, Santa actually brought it for my 7 year old step-daughter who is absolutely terrified of it. She isn't able to balance herself on it and it goes too fast for her. I think if she knew how to ride a bike without training wheels, she'd be able to ride this, too. I was hoping that this scooter would help her learn to balance so she'd be more willing to attempt to ride a bike but no such luck. Bottom line, the scooter is a lot of fun. It's just too advanced for younger children. Guess that's why they say you should be 12 to ride it...
AWESOMENESS at it's best
We bought this for our 9 year old daughter for Christmas. It arrived in a beaten box but all in all in fine shape (with a few nicks and scratches-not enough to really care). I charged the battery because I wanted to try it before we gave it to her, to, um, test it's safety :) It was so much fun! My husband and I rode it back and forth in the hallway for about an hour. We felt some guilt for playing with her Christmas gift before she got it-but we knew after she got it we wouldn't be allowed on it anymore. When she saw it on Christmas morning she was thrilled. We live in western Pennsylvania and Christmases tend to be snowy and cold, but it was a decent day and she went outside to ride it. She rose it for upwards of an hour before the low battery light came on. She hasn't had much ride time since then but I can tell you that the battery is great, the ride is great, the weight limit is a bonus for adults, and it is super fun. I just hope that she will allow me to ride it come summer.
Great ride for the price
Product was easy to assemble and get up and running. Daughter loved it and actually goes faster than I though it would. Seems to be a great product, especially for the reasonable price. Only negative is that the box came mangled from UPS and the throttle assembly housing was cracked exposing two wires. Did not notice the cracked piece at first. Called RAZR and they sent me a new throttle assembly.
Two thumbs up
I purchased this scooter for my daughters 9th birthday and she loves it! I have even had a go myself but I don't get to stay on it for to long as she wants it back. She rides her 10yr old sister on the back of it and it still flys!! We haven't tried it with the seat attached yet as I wanted her to get used to the speed first. It has been so much of a hit that I am buying another one for my 10yr for Christmas. In my daughters words "It's the best present ever"
Wonderful scooter
bought this for my 13 yr. old daughter. She loved it, it goes fast enough to be fun but no too fast to worry the parents. Very sturdy, good quality. Would recommend this gift to anyone.
myrazor
I purchased this electric scooter for myself to get around the neighborhood, but I think my boys ride it way more than I do. The other kids that live close by also have a blast with it. My house has become the hang out. Great scooter and investmen t.
Great purchase!!,
My granddaughter had requested this gift for her birthday. She loves it!! Has even tried it out in the inclement weather prior to snowfall. I was also extremely happy with the service Amazon provided. The item arrived very quickly and was shipped at no cost!!
EXCELLENT ITEM
I received my Razor E200S Seated Scooter and after assembly, it worked perfectely. Eventhough I bought the item for my daughter, my 12 year old son loves it better than my daughter if that is anyway possible. I purchased my son a Mongoose year before last but now after riding his sisters Razor, he's asking for a razor too. We thoroughly enjoyed this product and will probably purchase another one next Christmas.
Kids' Review,
I'm only 10 years old and I bought this scooter for only $149.99 at Toys R' Us. I weigh 82 lbs and I would reccomend this scooter for ages 10 and up!!! I think this scooter is better than the E100. It only goes 10 mph!!! And the tire busted right away!!! And if my E200 busts then they'll send me another one!! 4 free!!!! Buy it!!!
Great Ride for the Price
I had my doubts about this scooter since it was so reasonably priced, but so far it has been a great ride. I got it for my 8 year old son to play around with on the sidewalks but discovered that it is fun for me too! My son's friend got the next level down in scooters, the E100 I think, and his is much slower. Plus he does not have the option of the seat. With the E200S, you can decide to use the seat or go without it, and my son chose to use it. He loves his scooter, and it was definitely a good buy.
Electric Scooter
My 9 year old daughter got this for Christmas a couple years back and it still works fine. The battery does not hold much of a charge anymore but that can be expected of any battery. Will likely get another battery since this was so much fun to use. Her friends in the neighborhood thought it was the coolest thing. We got this more powerful one because I am a kid at heart and occasionally want to go for a ride myself and it will hold her as she get older too. Look at the weight limits before you buy because they can vary.
Fun but not not so reliable
Purchased in Aug 2009. The front tire would not hold air after ~1 month. Razor sent a replacement and it had the same problem after ~2 months. After ~7 months of [very light to rare] use the scooter will not function at all due to the batteries not holding a charge. Still searching for a decent battery replacement (Razor is out of stock). It is understood that tires and batteries are items that need replacing but given the light use and relatively short time before these items went out I would have expected more.
Poorly engineered back wheel assemble and poor customer service!!!!
This scooter seemed like the best little powerhouse until we started to have problems with the backwheel. It is expected to need air every 1-2 weeks but my daughter received it at Christmastime and could not ride it due to weather conditions. The valve on the wheel has to be defective because even with the valve extender located in the handlebar it is IMPOSSIBLE to fill the tire due to the poorly angled valve!!! Razor stated it was past the 90 day warranty (even though it was used the first time in April!!!). It is most likely defective yet they will NOT replace the part!!! Very poorly handled!!!!!! Therefore when the part comes i will need to assemble the wheel and figure that one out myself!!! Have fun with this one!!! The last Razor Product i will EVER purchase!!!! ME
Batteries are Week
Santa brought this for our 9 year old boy for Christmas 2009. The product literature indicates once charged the scooter should run for 45 minutes. The best we ever got was 15 minutes. Now in August 2010 the scooter no longer works. Dear Santa We need a new battery.
Major Problems With This Product
I ordered two of these scooters from Amazon for my children last Christmas. They have only used them about 10 times. They worked great the first few times they were used. However neither will run now and our 30-day Amazon return and 90-day Razor warranty period have expired. I dont think it is a coincidence that they both broke. I think it is a poorly made product.

Product Description
Cruise around the neighborhood in style with the Razor E200 electric scooter. An ultra-quiet chain-driven motor, and a handy twist-grip throttle accelerator, the E200 is the perfect device for teens and adults wanting to speed over to a friend's house or head to the park. Unlike Razor's E300S and E500S scooters--which offers a seated ride--the E200 requires you to stand while zipping through town.
But standing in the E200 isn't a problem thanks to the full-size deck and frame, which are custom designed for ages 13 and up. Once you're on the move, the variable-speed motor ramps up to 12 miles per hour--fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace on the street or sidewalk.
The long-life rechargeable battery, meanwhile, lasts for up to 45 minutes of continuous use per charge (with an eight-hour charge time), so you can easily cruise to the grocery store and back without running out of juice. Other details include 8-inch pneumatic tires for a smooth ride, a hand-operated rear brake, and such accessories as a pair of 12-volt batteries, a charger, and tools. The E200, which offers a maximum weight limit of 154 pounds, is backed by a 90-day warranty.
The buyer and rider of the E200 scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters.

Love the scooter
My 7 year daughter loves the scooter. She says it is her favorite Christmas gift. Amazon delivered it quickly.
Razor Scooter Review
The scooter is AWESOME!We love it! we ride it everyday after school for at least an hour! After we got a mooter scooter everyone on the street got one ( and i mean everyone ) all my friends on the street have green ones like me and my sisters so after school we form a long line and we ride up and down the street, It is loads of fun! My Mom and Dad think it is the safest scooter for us. None of us have fallen of yet! we all LOVE it!
Excellent Value
Easy to assemble, followed instructions exactly as far as charging the battery, etc., and have been extremely pleased - my 12-year-old daughter LOVES it, and we've had no problems with the battery not lasting. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone whose child wants a motorized scooter.
Worth the money
We bought all of our 5 kids one of these and they have used them A LOT. We have a great neighborhood to use these and I've gotten on it a few times myself. I will say that my 14 yr old son used it to go over jumps with so the chain keeps falling off of his so it's not good for extreme use but for tooling around, it's perfect.
Great kid gifts
I got this scooter for my 11, 9, and 6 year olds. They love it! It goes fast enough for the 11 year old but slow enough for the 6 year old. My husband and I even ride it! It holds a charge well even with cousins and neighborhood kids riding it. It is making a rattling noise now that it did not make when we first purchased it, we will check that out ASAP! So far so good!!
Great little scooter
Bought this scooter for our son's 11th birthday. He comes in almost everyday telling us that he loves his scooter. The back tire is very difficult to inflate. Other than that we have had no problems. It really zips around, but no so fast as to scare you. Have to say though, it does attract attention from all the older kids in the neighborhood.
Happy Mom
My son love this very very much.I am happy to bought this scooter.
Razor E200 Electric Scooter- awesome!
We bought this scooter for our daughters 7&8yrs from EToys through [...]. Very pleased with delivery and package came in perfect shape no damage. First we did the over 12hr charge. Then my husband tweeked the brakes, so that my young children could squeeze the brakes while riding. We also adjusted the wire & cables to figure S like shape along outside of height bar, and secured it with a tie wrap just below where you adjust the height. Just like noted by another review, the tire valve stem extension is inside the right side handle grip just remove cap. This is not stated in the manual, but it is shown on the diagram that points out all the parts.
Our girls love this scooter and we do too, since it holds upto approx 200lbs. We just ride it back and forth down our sidewalk for about 5 houses down the street, and in and out of driveways.
We have been careful not to turn it on its side since we read comments that this can break of parts. Other neighborhood kids
Awesome scooter
I bought one of these at Toys'R'Us and have had so much fun. It hasn't had one problem and it's a lot faster and easier than walking. I know you may think that a kid's review doesn't matter but this product is targeted for our age group and I believe it's most important to know what we think of it. If you're planning on purchasing a Razor E200 and are having doubts, you shouldn't be. It really is amazing!
best scooter deal
I bought this for my 9 year-old daughter and she loves it. I was considering the E100 because of the age recommendations but decided to go with the E200 because of the weight capacity. Im glad I did. My daughter can handle it just fine and I don have to worry about an older child getting on it and breaking it. Buy it if you like it. This is my best shop of the year.
Fun for all!
My son loves this scooter. It was easy to put together (mostly assembled) and it runs great! We had one mishap which caused the chain to derail (6" curb) however it was fairly easy to set it back. It still runs like new and you dont have to worry about the weight limit since it accomodates most adults.
Riding the Razors Edge.......
My 9 yr old son and I read through the consumer reviews of 7 different electric scooters. After careful consideration we opted for the E200. Box arrived at our front door in Hawaii within 2 days! Easy to set up we plugged in the battery charger and left it over night. Next day we went to our local park and I let my son loose on the basketball court. This scooter is really fast. I put a baseball radar gun to clock his speed and his best was 13 mph. 13 mph for a 9 yr old riding a scooter is fast in my opinion.
After 34 charges it still retains a decent charge. This past weekend he got 48 minutes of continuous riding time on a flat surface. Going uphill as well as rider weight will be a factor in determining riding time. The factory manual states the battery life to be approx 250 charges. You need to pay close attention to tire pressure and chain tension. After a month and a half of ownership I am pleased with the E200.
Aloha!!!
Pain in the butt!!
I bought this for my sons 12 th birthday. When we received it it had to charge for 18 hours and thent he rear tire would not hold air. We used a bicycle pump as instructed but apparently the tube was faulty. Had to file a warranty claim and wait for a repair for a week. Razor was no help at all and neither was Amazon!!
Razor E200 Electric Scooter
I received my scooter a few days ago and it has been quite enjoyable. I purchased it to zip across campus but it weighs a lot for any convenience. But it gets me from one end of campus to another fast. It does go a lot faster then advertised.
I did everything to the "T" when putting it together. And have not had any problems with the motor scrapping on little mounds. It does need to take a gradual incline though because the motor wont get good pick up on a straight incline.
I originally was going to buy the 300 series because I weigh 135lbs but Im only 5"3 and this is perfect. but if you weigh more or are taller I would go up a series.

Unlike Razor's E300S and E500S scooters--whose motors start from a standing position--the E100 requires a small manual kickoff to 3 miles per hour before starting (the rider presses a trigger to engage the motor). Once your child is on the move, however, the electric motor ramps up to 10 miles per hour--fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace on the street or sidewalk.
Thanks to the long-life rechargeable battery, which takes about eight hours to fully charge, riders can cruise for up to 40 minutes at a stretch. Other details include a folding handlebar mechanism for easy storage and transport, an 8-inch pneumatic front tire and 4.9-inch polyurethane rear wheel, and a hand-operated front brake. The E100 is recommended for ages 8 and older and offers a maximum weight capacity of 120 pounds. It also comes with a pair of 12-volt batteries, a charger, and tools and is backed by a 90-day warranty.
The buyer and rider of the E100 scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters.

6 year old daughter loves the Razor E100
Got this for my 6 year old's 7th birthday in a month. She loves it!! It doesn't go too fast or too slow. She seems to be able to maneuver it quite well on our suburban streets and sidewalks. Assembly was fast (2 mins!) and set-up was easy (plug it into the wall, plug it to the battery, 10 seconds!) and WHA-LA... wait 12 hours and it's all charged. This thing goes for WAY longer than 40 mins, too. We've spent HOURS outside riding it almost continously and it NEVER ran out of juice. I give this 2 thumbs up!
Very good scooter
This is my 9 year old son's scooter. He loves it. He is 80 lbs and it scoots along without any problems. He uses it several times a week. Battery life is longer than expected, although there are no hills or inclines where we live. We did follow the instructions and bring the scooter inside on cold nights. I like that I can plug it in and charge it and forget it. It automatically shuts the charger down and will not damage the battery. A friend of his did drive it into a ditch that had about 2 feet of really nasty water in it. It was in there for about 2 or 3 minutes before I could help pull it out. I knew that it wouldn't work, but I didn't even try it until I took it apart and cleaned it and let it air dry....Voila!!! it worked just like the first day out of the box. Very impressed. He did run into a brick wall and broke the throttle switch. Went to Razor's website and ordered a new throttle and cable. Installed it without any issues and he was back in business. I would get
Wish I was Younger
I really wish they had these when I was younger. My 8 year old loves her new scooter and had no problem learning how to ride it. I purchased the larger model for my older daughter and she loves hers as well. The scooter is best for riding on smooth level surfaces and does not do well driving into a driveway or up onto a sidewalk as it tends to "bottom out". The speeds worry me a little, but then I realize they go just as fast or faster on their bikes.
Grandson loves it
I ordered this for my grandsons 11th birthday. When it arrived the box had a big split down the front you could see the scooter and the red paint scraped off of it.I was very upset I did not think I would get another one before his party. I called Amazon they had me another scooter here within 24 hours and the other one picked up. Thank you Amazon for your great customer service. When my grandson saw it on his birthday the look on his face was price less.He loves it it is just the right speed.
Great Scooter
was fortunate enough to get this scooter through Amazon's promotional deal for $29. You can't beat that price. It didn't take long to charge. My kids are 11, 7 & 4 and they all love it. Heck I even ride it. It has nice pick up and go. We keep ours plugged up when it is not in use.
Toteally Oteally Awesomely Awesome!
This scooter is amazing! I love it. Me,11 and my 8 year old Brother each got one for Christmas 2008! These scooters go up to 10 MPH...although it feels like you're going 20! So that's really cool. The twist throttle is really easy because you just grip it and twist it towards you...then you get going. The only downside about this e100 is the handbrake. I like the handgas...but not so crazy about handbrakes. Honestly, I prefer handbrakes on bikes...but when I have to quickly brake...it really hurts my hands. Then they turn red and throb. So that's the only bad side about this Razor Electric Scooter. But NOW I'm saving up for the Razor Ground Force. That one is awesome. It's gonna be SO neat having a Go Kart! The Go Kart goes up to 12 MPH...which obviously is a little faster then the e100 that I have now. Anyways...Tootles! :) -Ariel
Perfect for our 10 yr old daughter
She can't get enough of this scooter.Easy to put together (she did it herself).Even though it only goes 10 mph it feels like it goes faster. It runs for about a hour fully charged.
E100 Scooter
I have the red Razor E100 scooter and it is great. I ride it all over my neighborhood and it is fast enough for me to keep up while my mom runs.
I love it and would recommend it to anyone who likes to zoom around their neighborhood!

I love this scooter! I am 8 yrs old, and this is a great toy for me. The kick start seemed kinda fast at first, but I got used to it. My street has no hills so the scooter goes great all the time. Make sure you wear your helmet. My friends are all jealous, it's the greatest toy in the neighborhood. I wish the kickstand was bigger so the scooter would stay up better when I'm not on it.
Be Forwarned! : )
I just ordered a couple of these for my boys for Christmas. I just wanted to warn that these toys are not hidden in a box and the identity of the toy is apparent on the box, in case your child is at home upon delivery and you don't want him to see it!
My daughter loves it
We gave this to our 13 yr old daughter as a gift about 4 months ago. She loves it! She scoots around the neighborhood on her own. It has also cut down on my carpooling. She rides it to school at least once a week and to her after-school activities. If the battery runs out while she is on it, she just uses her legs and scoots home as if it were a non-electric scooter. It's light enough to carry up the stairs also. You have to remember to plug it in at night so it will always be charged. One morning it wouldn't work even though it had been plugged in all night. We thought the battery was dead but after some thought we pressed the reset button and it was good to go. It goes a bit slower going up hills and at the end of its charge. Easy to assemble. My daughter's only complaint is that people stop her in the street and ask her where she got her scooter, how much it costs and if they can ride it too....
Very Pleased
This is a great product. My [...] received the same Scooter for Christmas. My [...]decided he wanted one as well. We found this Scooter on Amazon as cheap as in the store. We did not have to pay shipping, so it was easier than going to the store. If was very difficult to find these in our area after Christmas, so I was very happy to find it here. It is simple to assemble and is very durable. A great product for anyone with "rough and tough" boys. My nephews received a different brand of Scooter for Christmas, and they are already broken (flat tires, etc) I reccommend this Scooter to anyone with boys who like to ride!
Great for a 7 year old!!
My son LOVES his new electric scooter! It is very easy for him to operate and it doesn't go too fast, he uses it every day. At first we thought it was defective because after charging it, it didn't seem like it was working. If you read the directions, you will see that you need to kick off a few times and start it while it is in motion. That turned out to be a nice safety feature because our 3 year old keeps hopping on it and trying to start it. Another nice surprise was that we got the free shipping so it wasn't supposed to arrive for several days but it arrived in less than a week!
Great buy
bought this for my 8 year-old son and he absolutely loves it. He goes a bit faster than I would like him to, but he really enjoys it. This one 'kick starts' and I definitely prefer this with a child his age. Now I just need to keep his father off it!!
Razor E100 Scooter Fast Enough
The scooter is great!!! It came with everything we needed to charge it up. It was very easy to assemble. We felt it was a great value, considering that the local stores had it on sale for the same price. Only we did not have to drive to get it, it was delivered to our home with free shipping. It is a peppy scooter for a first time user. It is just the right size for our 8 year old and he loves it. What more can you ask for? Remember to use your helmet and pads.
Great fun for kids
Our son has used his E100 for almost a year now, got it for his 7th birthday. He rides it a while almost every day on the street in front of our home, no long treks. It's been reliable and performs as advertised. I would guess that our son goes about as fast as someone running fast (running, not jogging), sometimes faster going downhill. The brake is a bit weak but not bad. At age 7, our son has behaved safely with it, stops and waits off the road if a car comes and no crazy stunts, so I would say it is suitable for his age, but obviously every kid has different maturity levels so parents have to judge on their own. Lots of fun, impresses his friends, and reliable.
My son loves it
We purchased this after seeing many children riding around an RV Park we frequent. The charge holds up much longer than the 40 minutes advertised and it is rugged enough to withstand a young boy. It is easy for him to start and stop and charge up all on his own
Amazing Product
This product is amazing!. I am 12 and weigh 81 pounds. I rode it for 3.5 hours straight. It is amazing battery power. I think ten miles per hour is a lot even though you can get 15 miles per hour it is still pretty fast. I rate it 5 stars because it is fun, educational, and yet, long lasting. Thank you Razor!
Great little Scoot
I purchased this for my 8 year old. This has been a joy of his for quite a few months. It runs well, peppy and the battery seems to hold up for a very long riding period. He has had times in excess of 1 hr. riding around the house and driveway. The only thing which is minor that annoys me is that when you corner very sharply the chain protector drags the pavement. No damage is done but it seems this part of the scooter should be higher off the ground. Overly recommended for children of appropriate ages. Get your child one, they and you will not regret it.

great choice
This little motorcycle is surprising tough and handles really well! Our son loves it and it's just perfect for parents who want more than a bicycle, more than the toddlers power wheels, but their child just isn't quite ready for a gas powered dirt bike. We thought our Son may need some time to get used to the way a motorcycle handled, but he took right to it. Always be safe and use helmet and pads! Got a great price from Amazon.com, better than anywhere else and we looked for a long time.
Great starter dirtbike for a small kid
I purchased four of these at the same time. I have three six year olds and an eight year old. The assembly was pretty quick and easy. Most of the bike is together right out of the box but it took about 30 minutes to get the rest together. The bikes go pretty fast to be electric. The claim to go about 14mph and I'd say thats about right. I have a golf cart and I couldn't keep up with the bikes with it. There pretty sturdy as well. I've only had the bikes for a few weeks and they've been dropped and crashed numerous times and they keep on going. I did have one of the bikes that didn't work and Amazon was great at getting it shipped back to them and refunded (although the refund took about two weeks). The bikes will hold even the bigger boys with little problem, but don't expect to get the same top end speed and run time as with the lighter kids. I even rode it a couple of times and I weigh 188lbs (but its not really supposed to have more than 140lbs person on it...lol) It takes about 5 hours to charge (depending on the current charge of the battery). You can expect to get about 45 minutes from a single charge. My eight year old gets several minutes less than one of my lighter six year olds. In summary, I am satisfied with the item. It is exactly as the company describes. You really can't beat it for the price. My kids have great fun on them and I didn't have to fork over $800-$1000 for a gas powered dirt bike. I hope this helps someone in deciding on this purchase.
Razor MX350
Bought this for my sons 5th birthday. Small enough for him to get his feet flat on the ground. Realistic throttle similar to gas powered dirt bikes. Excellent first motorcycle. Speed maxes out at 10-13 mph but my son doesnt even go full out. He is able to stop or slow down easily using the left hand brake. Electric motor needs no maintenance just keep it charged! Motorcycle has NO suspension though. Not a problem for the little ones unless they hit a pretty big bump straight on....itll give them a jolt. Havent had the bike off road yet. Definitely WOULD recommend this bike for beginners. They get to learn the basics of handling throttle control and braking. All skills they need to move up to larger displacement bikes. Great for building confidence.
Dont forget the gear!!! They definitely should have a full face helmet at the least. Hope this helps.
perfect gift !
be careful this item is MUCH smaller than the 350 model would not recommend for over 45 lbs or age aprox 7...but if you lil one is smaller than that they will have the time of their life !these bikes are wonderful although the warrantee is short they do provide a site for replacement parts. enjoy !
Razor MX350 Dirt Rocket
My husband and I purchased the Razor MX350 Dirt Rocket as a Birthday present for our son that was turning 6. This is exactly what he wanted and it couldnt be more perfect for his age. The dirtbike is the perfect size and speed. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a starter dirtbike for their 5-6 year old.
